Are you an ambitious technical leader who wants to develop high performing work teams and enjoy working on the installation and repair of machinery? As a part of the Operations team you will have the opportunity to enlist internal and external resources to make improvements that shape production and product quality. What you'll do:
:Lead a team of highly technical professionals in a high:speed production environment.
:Motivate and empower your team to perform to the best of their abilities and maximize production quality.
:Deployment of lean principles and tools
:Enlists internal and external resources to improve standard work processes and material handling methods
:Champions the 4E's (Engages, Enlists, Envisions, and Executes)
:Executes capital projects.
:Improves the effectiveness of systems, policies, and procedures
What You Need:
:Bachelors degree in Engineering plus 2 years of technical production, operations, or technical maintenance experience OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 3 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution plus 7 years of technical production, operations, or technical maintenance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
:Required to work an off:shift (swing or graveyard) when scheduled.
:Required to lift and move equipment which weighs up to 40 pounds.
What Will Set You Apart:
:Bachelors degree in Engineering plus 2 years of technical production, operations, or technical maintenance experience OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 3 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
:Master's degree in Engineering or MBA
:Experience working in a consumer product goods environment
:Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
:Experienceworking in a union environment
