OverviewAssist customers and sales representatives in order entry requirements with professionalism, skill, and expediency.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Transact all business in accordance to Animal Health International Inc. s business code of ethics and conduct.Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, returns, quotes, etc.Maintain a current knowledge of company products, policies and proceduresHandle incoming class, order entry, field customer service problems, etc.Promote teamwork and a positive attitudeResponsible for communicating any pertinent information received from customers to the OSRMaintain a good, workable file of reference materialSetup and maintain customer filesOther Duties/Responsibilities:As AssignedQualificationsKnowledge, Skill and Ability:Good verbal and written communication skillsGood interpersonal skillsGood planner with strong organization skillsAble to exhibit enthusiasm and positivityAble to develop and maintain an attitude of cooperation with othersGood keyboard and 10-key skillsComputer skills, including MS OfficeAble to be professional at all timesEducation or Formal Training:High School Diploma requiredExperience:Clerical experience preferredComputer experience preferredPrevious phone experience preferredEnvironment:Material and Equipment Directly Used:General Office EquipmentComputer, including MS Office and other softwareWorking Environment/Physical Activities:Stationary position 75% of the timeOperate a keyboard and 10-key frequentlyMove up to 30 lbs.Travel less than 10% and only as requiredPositions Reporting to This Position:None
