Job Description:/h3:
Independently develops and implements
production/processing methods, equipment and controls to meet quality and production standards in the most cost efficient manner. Applies comprehensive knowledge of one or more technical disciplines (e.g. Electrical, Mechanical, Package, or Automation Engineering) or platforms, and one or more business areas) or processes (e.g. Distillation, Filtration, Liquid/Solid Separation, Corrugated Shippers, Labels, or Closures). Influences and advises a work group in the organization, leads key segments of projects and initiatives, and acts as a key member of the team or work group. Trains and guides lower level staff.
:Ensures that Engineering solutions meet applicable safety requirements.
:Manages the transition of capital projects (Eng to Quality/Ops) : does not include SOP writing.
:Facilitates completion of action items from capital projects after Operation Qualification through Performance Qualification.
:Processes set:ups (process capability, initial set point confirmation).
:Facilitates the implementation of process settings and gauge upgrades.
:Facilitates the implementations of process systems (i.e., SCADA).
:Determines and achieves long:term continuous improvement goals.
:Consult with Operations on technical procedures
:Leads resolutions for chronic process issues.
:Liaison between Process Improvement group and manufacturing process.
:Participates in Weekly Gemba walk for the production floor.
:Works with project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
:Designs / Engineers mechanical solutions to process related and tooling issues.
:Maintains satisfactory attendance, to include timeliness.
:Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations. If accountable for the work of others, responsible for ensuring their understanding and compliance.

:High School Diploma or GED.
:Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing) plus 5 years of experience executing
manufacturing/process engineering initiatives in a manufacturing environment reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or 9 years of experience executing
manufacturing/process engineering initiatives in a manufacturing environment reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
:Experience with machine design.
:Experience with and understanding of CAE software.
:Experience with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access, MS PowerPoint and MS Project.
:Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing) plus 8 years of Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Process Engineering experience in a production environment reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
:Project Management experience.
:Experience with Design of Experiment.
:Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor software.
:Formal Continuous Improvement experience (Lean manufacturing and root cause analysis tools).
:Skilled in applying comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in one or more technical discipline (e.g. electrical engineering) or platform, and one or more business area (e.g. warehouse) or process (e.g. filtration).
:Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
:Experience responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
:Experience writing speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
:Experience effectively presenting information to top management.
:Skilled in the use of MS Project at an advanced level; MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint at a
